Charcuterie boards are excellent for Easter parties! There are numerous spring charcuterie board options, but we wanted to construct one with Easter grass, jelly beans, and a chocolate bunny to resemble an Easter basket. How to construct a colourful Easter charcuterie board with everyone’s favourite holiday goodies.
Making an Easter Charcuterie Board.
Include foods
Easter sweets in the shape of bunnies: A chocolate bunny has to be one of the most prominent elements of the display. Using commonplace products like Peeps and graham crackers shaped like bunnies, we managed to work in a plethora of different rabbit forms as well.
Jelly beans: An essential part of Easter! We made sure there was plenty by including two varieties.
Chocolates: We were able to include colour and seasonal forms by using many kinds of chocolate due to the wide variety of methods in which chocolate can be wrapped. The pastel pinks and blues seen throughout Easter season are given a sparkling twist with blue eggs and pink Hershey kisses. In addition to a package of spring-colored M&Ms, we grabbed some chocolates that looked like carrots and selected the light blue candies (you could also go with purple, green, or yellow).
We created one handmade goodie, pinwheel mints, and that was all. We adore them because of the whimsical spiral design and the colours that go with the theme.
Extra sweets: We used Easter grass bubble gum to create a rudimentary “bird’s nest” that was just right for storing Whoppers robin eggs. We also added crunch to the board with colourful white chocolate-covered almonds (the Favourite Day shimmer colourful almond combination from Target) in the shape of eggs.
Easter Charcuterie Board Construction Instructions
To prevent any candy from escaping, we opted for a charcuterie board with a lip and handles, which allowed us to fill it with Easter grass with ease.
Put Easter grass in the charcuterie board.
Starting with covering the whole bottom of the board with Easter grass, we wanted our Easter “charcuterie” board to seem like an Easter basket.
Second Step: Assemble the Bunny Nest and Set It Up
Create a temporary “nest” out of Easter grass bubble gum once you’ve equally nested the grass. It was positioned in the centre, somewhat to the left of the board.
Additionally, we positioned the chocolate bunny in the centre, somewhat to the right of the board. By aligning these two distinct features that direct your attention to the same latitude, the board maintains its sense of equilibrium.
Third, get out your cookie cutters.
It is almost Easter, so break out the baked goods! Candies like M&Ms and jelly beans, which often require a bowl, may be creatively held using cookie cutters.
We used bunny and chick-shaped cookie cutters, but you may use whatever Easter-themed shapes you prefer, including carrots, eggs, or even sheep. Position them above and below the chocolate bunny, about in the middle of the board, after you’ve made up your mind. It’s more appealing to have them slanted than straight. Visually, it’s better, and you won’t need to worry about the other sugar clusters on the board having precisely the right size or position.
Fourth, arrange the pinwheel mints and Peeps on top.
Line up two rows of four bunny-shaped Peeps in the top left corner of the board.
In the lower left corner, line up a row of Peeps that resemble chicks. Position two rows of pinwheel mints directly above the chicks. The chick-shaped cookie cutter should be lightly touched by the Peeps and mints.
Begin at the top right corner of the board and work your way down to the bottom left. On the right side, nestle the chocolate bunny between two lengthy lines of pinwheel mints.
Fifth, finish filling in the board’s edges.
Set a couple of blue chocolate eggs beneath the cookie cutter in the shape of a chick. Place a few jelly beans in the space between the pinwheel mints and the eggs in the lower right corner.
Add a handful of bunny-shaped graham crackers in between the nest and the Peeps. Fill in the space between the pinwheel mints and the Peeps with some colourful almonds wrapped in chocolate.
Step 6: Complete the Blanks
The chocolate bunny should be surrounded by empty space once you’ve stitched a border around the board’s perimeter. Put in the pink Hershey kisses and the chocolates that look like carrots.
Step 7: Complete the Easter board by adding any desired embellishments.
To make it appear like a bird’s nest, place the Whopper robin eggs on top of the bubble gum. After that, use the blue M&Ms and jelly beans to fill up the cookie cutters.

Place this Easter charcuterie board on top of additional Easter grass and embellish with plastic eggs, additional jelly beans, M&Ms, and other Easter sweets to make it blend in with other Easter-themed delights. Your staff will be unable to resist grazing all day long—though it could be difficult to persuade them to begin due to the board’s aesthetic appeal!

Board in the shape of a bunny: Roll out some cheese to make a shape, then surround it with crackers, meat, fruit, and cheese. Another option is to use a bunny-shaped cookie cutter to mould the cheese into a wheel. Then, fill the space between the wheels with your favourite homemade jam or jelly.
