Among a litter of rescue kittens that his family was fostering, Pumpkin was the lone orange cat. Originally, they had no intention of keeping any of them, but in the end, they adopted Pumpkin and his sibling Moustachio. They were unable to let them go when the time came.
Pumpkin’s family learned that he has a mild form of cerebellar hypoplasia as he began to grow. Although it interferes with his ability to perceive depth and coordinate, he never allows it stop him from going on adventures.
Pumpkin’s mother Tia, who requested that her last name not be revealed, said to The Dodo, “We say he’s clumsy like a puppy.” “He appears to trot rather than run, raising his front paws one at a time.”
Pumpkin has always enjoyed being outside and enjoys going on numerous family trips. He has been trekking and kayaking, so one day his mother and sister thought they would try taking him to the beach.
Pumpkin appeared to be having a great time exploring the beach and playing in the sand, but that was before the wind began to kick up. At that point, his family learned that the adventure cat did not care for the wind at all.
Tia remarked, “We quickly discovered he didn’t love the wind, but he actually really loved the beach.” “We were taking pictures and videos because we had never seen anything like the faces he was making before.”
Pumpkin made the cutest, sassiest faces his family had ever seen as the wind touched him.
they couldn’t quit giggling at how obviously unhappy he was with the wind.
That day at the beach, Pumpkin had some pretty strong thoughts about the wind, and he was not afraid to voice them.
Since then, Pumpkin has been back to the beach many times. He still loves playing and running around, but the wind will never be his thing.
