According to Newsweek, Rocky, a 3-year-old pit bull, has been at Lollypop Farm, Humane Society of Greater Rochester since October 2022, when his family was evicted and could no longer care for him.
Rocky has been adopted twice and returned to the shelter, plus a couple two-week trial periods. Despite these glimpses of promise, Rocky inevitably returns to his roots.
Since returning in September, he has had no luck. Rocky would flourish as the lone dog in an adults-only home, according to communications specialist Lindsay Brewer, who told Newsweek that he is a fantastic dog.
