After Kate Middleton admitted to editing photos, British citizens are submitting the same requests to the royal family.

A divisive “edited” photo of the Princess of Wales and her kids has prompted the British public to express their concerns to the Royal Family.

Kate Middleton took advantage of a Mother’s Day photo opportunity to allay concerns about her absence.

In the charming photo, the Princess of Wales was sat among her three kids, George, Charlotte, and Louis. A note of appreciation said, “Thank you for your kind words and unwavering support over the past two months,” next to the picture. Greetings on Mother’s Day to all. C.

However, astute social media users saw photo altering anomalies, which led to doubt and conjecture—some blaming the Royal Family.

When multiple international photo agencies released a “kill notification” over alleged photo manipulation, tensions increased.

In a social media message on March 11, Kate acknowledged the changes and admitted to the photo manipulations: Like a lot of amateur photographers, I do sometimes dabble in editing. I wanted to apologise for any misunderstanding that may have arisen from our sharing of the family photo yesterday. I sincerely hope that Mother’s Day was enjoyed by all who participated. C.

Brits are calling for transparency in response.

The call was led by Piers Morgan, who urged the Royal Family to disclose the unaltered photo right away. “The Palace should release the unedited photo of Kate and the kids as soon as possible,” he tweeted. Nobody will be concerned if it’s just a minor instance of careless photo editing gone bad. The conspiracy theories they were attempting to disprove will become far more extreme if they don’t reveal the source image.

Others agreed, calling for the original photograph to be released right away in order to allay any suspicions.

For several weeks, the Princess of Wales had been gone from both public life and royal duties, which gave rise to a number of conspiracy theories concerning her whereabouts.

On January 16, Kate had a scheduled procedure at the London Clinic, and on January 29, she travelled back to her house in Windsor. As rumours about her disappearance spread, Kensington Palace was forced to criticise the “madness of social media.”

In a statement, Kate’s team confirmed that her abdominal surgery went well and that she will likely recover at home after a two-week hospital stay.
